I’ve been working a lot in digital media for freelance lately so I thought I’d try working traditionally. I figured a fun challenge would be to work up a New Yorker style cover…

I sketched out a handful of thumbnails – this one had the most promise I thought.

Here is the final line-art.

I finished it off with watercolor and colored pencil.
